Welcome
In this little corner of the ethereal world I'd like to share the creative pursuits which make me who I am. I'd like to introduce you to stories I've written and stories I'm in the process of writing; I'd like to show you my attempts at painting and photography and any other art forms I decide to plunge into. I hope those of you who share my passion for family and local history will find my journeys of discovery interesting and inspiring and share your own journeys with me. And finally, I'd like to introduce you to the dolls’ houses and miniatures I’ve always enjoyed and finally have time to work on – they, too, have their stories.
Imagination is everything. In its darkest forms it can frighten you with dreadful 'what ifs' or drag you into the depths of despair. At its most wonderful it can fill your head with dreams and your heart with confidence. The ability to harness imagination - in stories, pictures, or any other kind of creation - is a precious gift we all possess. Being able to share it is a privilege.
I hope you'll find something here to enjoy, and I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to contact me about any of my posts. Please follow me on Twitter too - @katiecarrwriter.
